California Outdoor School Administrators (COSA)
COSA establishes guidelines and certifies publicly funded Residential Outdoor Science Schools in California. Their site has information on certification standards as well as an up-to-date list of accredited Residential Outdoor Science Schools in the state.

Association of Environmental and Oudoor Educators
AEOE is an organization of naturalists, classroom teachers, and other environmental educators. Their web site has a calendar of upcoming events as well as a well used outdoor education job board.
